St. Louis County has received $3.8 million from the State of Minnesota to provide economic relief to eligible businesses and nonprofits adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

CARES Act funds
St. Louis County has successfully allocated the $24.5 million from the federal government through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The County Board-approved plan included distributing funds for Small Business Assistance, Community Assistance (including schools) and Individual Assistance.
